Overcoming challenges and reaching the finish line for a charitable cause.
The OXFAM Intermón Trailwalker has closed its Madrid challenge with 700 participants spread over 115 teams and a collection amount, along with the Girona test, close to 700,000 euros.
With these numbers, the solidarity march of Madrid, which had its start in San Lorenzo de El Escorial and its finish line in Mataelpino, once again highlighted its strength to help clean water management projects for more than 115,000 people in Africa and America. Latina
As the director of the OXFAM Intermón Trailwalker, Oscar Hernandez highlighted, «The Trailwalker spirit is not to arrive first, but to overcome your challenges and reach the goal for a cause of solidarity».
The threefold challenge offered sports, solidarity and teamwork, something that makes it an unparalleled tool for group cohesion.
The money raised will be used to finance the projects related to water, hygiene, and sanitation in which the organization works throughout the world, mainly in Africa and Latin America, and of which some 115,000 people will benefit.
