Wanda Metropolitano, the stage where magic and innovation take effect

December, the last month of the year, started with a unique moment in football’s history. Hyundai’s activation event was the first-ever cars handover where men and women received the same car, a Tucson Hybrid 48V N Line.

During the activation, 10 players from both teams of Atlético de Madrid received their new Hyundais during an activation carried out inside Atlético’s home Wanda Metropolitano. The stadium witnessed an incredible atmosphere with lights and emotions from players, club’s and brand’s representatives were present too. The rest of the players, staff and club’s representatives will receive their cars during the following week in private.

With this activation, Hyundai shows once more its commitment with equality, innovation and progress after releasing one month ago the Atlético Femenino campaign “Con F de fútbol” where Amanda, Lola, Ludmila and DT Pablo López were essential participants.

The ceremony started with the revelation on the stage of the new Tucson Hybrid 48V and the entrance of the players. The ECO vehicles were handed to each player one by one by fans, Gonzalo Miró (Spanish host) and Íñigo Debod (Magician).

The event, apart from empowering equality in football’s world was also a great opportunity to work towards environmental awareness since all cars have the ECO qualification. With that activation, Hyundai keeps its goal of creating consciousness through mobility leadership and football values.
