HYUNDAI became the official car of the eDreams Mitja Marató de Barcelona 2020 for a second year in a row

As part of Hyundai’s compromise with sports and running, this year the brand supported again the runners participating in this massive event in Barcelona.

2020 has been a very special year for the city of Barcelona. It held the 30th edition of the eDreams Mitja Marató and Hyundai couldn’t miss this special event.

On the press conference that took place on February 13th at Museu Olimpic i de l’Esport Joan Antoni Samaranch, the brand was present through a special exhibition of one of their best sellers: the Hyundai KONA.

Thanks to a huge fleet of cars, Hyundai also helped the organization to transport the elite participants through the city the prior days of the half marathon and also to the race line prior the start countdown.

One of the biggest news in this special edition, was the presence of the new and exclusive Hyundai NEXO as the leading car of the race. The Hyundai NEXO is a fuel cell vehicle that purifies the air as it goes.

As official sponsor, from February 12th to 14th Hyundai had also a great stand in the Runners Fair located in the Congress Pavilion of Fira de Barcelona. Guests visiting the booth located in the heart of the venue, could learn more about the Hyundai KONA, electric cars and also win smart watches through different activations.

CA Sports Marketing has been once again the official agency working closely with Hyundai in this activation as a part of an ambitious Partnership Plan of the brand in Catalunya.
