Gabi is a Spanish footballer who currently plays as midfielder in Al-Sadd SC in the Qatar Football League.

Formed in Atlético de Madrid’s youth academy, played for Getafe C.F. and at Real Zaragoza, in the 2011/12 season before returning to Atlético de Madrid to set up a legacy as captain. In his years as Colchonero, he lead Atlético to achieve a La Liga Championship, a Spanish Cup, a Spanish Super Cup, an European Super Cup and two Europa Leagues. The team also reached the Champions League final in 2013-2014 and 2015-2016 seasons.

Loved by football no matter their colors, Gabi Fernández is still playing to make his legend even bigger.
